Eurotex of Spain joins Transocean!
Industrias Quimicas Eurotex entered into the Transocean Association on January 1st, 2011. Eurotex is based in Mairena del Alco, near Sevilla where the headoffice, wharehouses and factory is located. Eurotex was founded in 1981 and specialised initially in decorative paints and wood coatings. In 2008, the company acquired Barniex, a producer of decorative and industrial coatings who were active since 1991.
The Eurotex group is now active in regions in Spain and also has further representations outside Spain such as Portugal, Cuba, Morocco etc. The company has its own fleet of vehicles servicing their distributors and agents. 
Both Eurotex and Barniex factory are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and are fully equiped with the lastest production equipment.
The membership of Transocean gives Eurotex the chance to expand their activities into the Marine market as well as strenghten their existing operations in the industrial market. 
While in the technical centers of Eurotex the incorporation of Transocean products is in full swing, the Eurotex Commercial staff are making themselves familiar with the Transocean products and paint systems.
For this purpose, a training session was held in the historic town of Carmona at the Hotel ALCAZAR DE LA REINA. Commercial Director Mr. Pablo Pinasco of the Transocean member in Argentina, Pinturas Platamar and Transocean´s General Manager Mr. Kees Zaal introduced the Transocean products and systems to the commercial people of Eurotex.
After a full day of training in the properties of products, the various surface preparations tools, application methods etc. the commercial staff are completely capable for their task to introduce Transocean to their customers.
